Weekends are all about effortless style—looking sharp without trying too hard. We’re building this outfit as your go-to inspiration for those laid-back nights out, blending timeless pieces with a modern edge. Let’s build from the ground up.
Let’s start with our shoes, it’s still pretty chilly and snowy so a boot is going to be the play here. While a classic chunky chelsea is great for whether, when you’re going out something thinner with dark tones looks much better.
Johnson and Murphy: Flynch Chelsea Boot

Next up is a pair classic pair of denim, while wider leg pants are becoming more and more popular here in NA, I always like to pair a slim boot with a slim pant. Note I did not say skinny, painted on pants look good on no-one, choose a classic slim in a dark wash.
Dl1961: Nick Slim in Social (Dark Indigo)
Whats next? White Tee.
Patrick Assaraf: Iconic Pima T-Shirt
Next up is a thin layer, layering is and easy unlock for elevating your outfit and with the weather where it stands a nice thin merino pullover keeps you a little warmer, with a touch of style and elegance. With the dark navy denim and black boots we’ll add a little color here with a brown pullover.
Matinique: Margrate Merino Pullover
Lastly, its still cold…so let’s add a jacket. The outfit we have built here is definitely on the dressy casual side and while a puffer is a great jacket for the cold, the style here should definitely be paired back to a nice wool overcoat, or a peacoat. I’ve styled this outfit with a nice brownish/grey check pattern to give it a little Umph and pop, but if you don’t have something similar to this you can easily pair this back with a black, grey or dark navy overcoat.
Sand Copenhagen: 7475 Retro Coat
That’s it that’s all folks, thanks for reading and I hope this elevates your going out outfits for the rest of the weekend!
